Ezra Frech was born with one finger on his left hand and a curved left leg. When he was 2-1/2, it was decided to remove his left leg, and to use his big toe from that as a finger.

Ezra explains that he went from asking God why he chose him to have his leg taken, to accepting how he was created. He’s now only focused on being thankful.

When asked how he stays positive, he answers, “I think about what I have, instead of what I don’t have…I am just grateful that I have so many things that are great in my life.”

He even says that “It’s a good thing that I am born like this,” But you’ll have to listen to the video yourself to find out why.

We hope that Ezra inspires you to look at life’s challenges with a different perspective.
