Dave Smith grew up in Scotland as a child. He was raised as an only child, or so he believed. Now 68, it has been more than two decades, and he just met his brother for the first time. A search that had lasted two decades finally ended in Scotland. “It was really surprising for me,” he said of the call that ended the long search. But it wasn’t until his mother’s death That Smith had returned back to Edinburgh to sort out her documents. That’s when he found the record that prompted him to begin his 23-year long journey to find his brother. And after all these years he received the call.
