Every Dog And Cat In This Ohio Animal Shelter Became Adopted

There was not a cat or dog left in the building at the Summit County Animal Control in Akron, Ohio. It’s the miracle that this community had been waiting for. Every year the animal shelter hosts an “adopt-a-thon”. In the event, residents are encouraged to choose that day out of the year to adopt an animal and accept them into their homes.
During previous events, there have always been a handful of animals left behind, unable to find homes.

Their line started at 6:30 in the morning, and by the time the center opened at 10, there were already 300 people in line waiting to adopt! With just an hour and a half into the adopt-a-thon, all 93 animals within the facility were adopted.
