Someone Gave Her Baby A Kiss And It Nearly Killed Him!
A mother was in shock after finding out that her baby contracted herpes from just a simple kiss!
Amy Stinton’s baby was kissed by someone who had a cold sore, how its body reacted looks extremely painful. She shared the horror story on Facebook.
“This is what happens 2 babies when been in contact with a coldsore. Oliver now has the herpes virus and will have this for life. Think before you kiss a baby next time.”
Her baby had to be hospitalized for four days and put on an IV drip.
The photos have been getting shared by many mothers on Facebook, who have been a huge support for Amy.
The thing about this type of herpes is that it’s really common. Approximately 3.7 billion, or 67 percent of adults under 50 have herpes simplex 1. This is the type of herpes that only shows up on your mouth as a cold sore. Roughly 417 million people ages 14-49, or 11 percent, have herpes simplex 2, the kind that shows up as genital herpes, according to the World Health Organization.
