Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter, has been blown the competition out of the water in the show “Dancing With The Stars”. She has made it to week 8 of the competition, meaning that she has accumulated much hard earned money as the show season progressed.
However, TMZ reports that the California Superior Court is inclined to reject her DWTS contract on some insanely ridiculous grounds.
In order for Bindi to be paid under her current minor’s contract, she needs to prove to the court that her father is actually dead. Since her mother signed away any rights to her daughter’s money, the judge is requiring Bindi’s father to do the same. But of course, that’s impossible.
Steve Irwin died in a fatal sting ray accident in 2006. News of which echoed throughout the world!
“The court is unable to find that it is in the best interest of the minor to be bound by the terms of the contract.”
It is still unclear if the judge is asking for this information because he is not aware of the obviousness, or if Bindi is holding out on her father’s death certificate.
So far, this is the list of Bindi’s accumulated money:
A guarantee of $125k
By making it to weeks 3 and 4 she gets an additional $10k per week
Week 5 gets her another $15,000
Weeks 6 and 7 she gets $20k a week
Weeks 8 and 9 she gets $30k a week
And if she makes it to 10 and 11 she gets $50,000 a week
Since Bindi is now in week 8 of the show, earning herself nearly $230,000.
Bindi has shown much resilience throughout this whole ordeal. She has shared with the world her healing process and it is absolutely beautiful. We pray that her faith is forever stong!
