FBI Director James Comey Shocks The Nation With A Hillary Clinton Announcement
FBI Director James Comey issued an official statement during a press release in regards to Hillary Clinton’s scandal. Clinton, while secretary of state knowingly sent classified information through her personal email server that included classified and top secret, was indeed pardoned.
The FBI did not recommend criminal charges against the presumptive Democrat nominee.
According to the FBI, the investigation was taken “honestly, competently and independently.” Basically, Hillary was only slapped on the wrist for being “careless” with information. According to them, there was a possibility that ‘foreign actors’ may have hacked into the email server.
Comey’s recommendation will go to the Department of Justice, the ones that ultimately decide whether or not she should be criminally charged.
“(A)ny reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position, or in the position of those government employees with whom she was corresponding about these matters, should have known that an unclassified system was no place for” (those emails.)
Comey said that the department did not find evidence that Clinton and her representatives tried to delete emails deliberately.
“From the group of 30,000 emails returned to the State Department, 110 emails in 52 email chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received.”
Altogether, eight chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent. 36 chains contained Secret information at the time. Eight contained Confidential information.
