“For me, my faith is who I am, and I carry that with me whenever I go. I don’t think of it in terms of ‘I have to live it out, or act this way or that.’ I’m just myself.”

Actress Candace Cameron Bure, the actress known as DJ in “Full House”, says she isn’t afraid to show her faith in Hollywood. Not once has she tried to hide her faith and her religious beliefs in the middle of the most liberal city of California.

Hollywood is known for its transformations for many actors and actresses. To Bure said, Hollywood couldn’t change her.

Her new book, “Dancing Through Life”, elaborates on the time she had spent on the show while also trying to maintain her faith as alive as it has always been.

Bure’s partner Mark Ballas asked the actress to give 100 percent all the time, even during rehearsals. For an actress who was used to giving 100 percent only when the camera was filming, the request proved a challenge.

Maintaining your faith can prove to be difficult. And in a world where things aren’t what they used to be, a Christian can find it easy to lose their identity.

“I thought ‘Wow, isn’t that like our Christian walk?’ It’s so easy to say, ‘God, I’m giving you 50-80 percent,’ and that’s pretty good. But the Bible says God wants all of you, 100 percent of the time—the good stuff, bad stuff too. He’s connected to all of you. (There’s) no part of your life to leave Me out of.”
