A Symbol Of Hope
Chi Chi was born to be killed and eaten as a part of South Korea’s dog meat trade. She grew up in cruel living conditions while her body was being prepped for slaughter. Hung upside down and beaten like many other dogs for a practice that is believed to make their meat tender.
Chi Chi, her new name which means “loving” in Korean, is one of the lucky ones. She was found in a trash can near the dog slaughterhouse and has since been rescued given a new home in Phoenix.
See her remarkable story below to see why this dog with no paws is a symbol of hope for all rescue animals!
