Parents Are Trying To Raise Awareness About Vaccinations – This Happened To Their Daughter Because They Didn’t Vaccinate In Time!
It was a day of happiness and bliss for many families this past Valentine’s Day.
For Jenny and Neil Burdett, it was a day of tragedy. Their 2-year-old daughter, Faye, died of meningitis on the day of love.
It may seem odd for the parents of Faye to keep sharing shocking pictures of their daughter’s appearance before she died, but they are doing it for a noble reason.
The Burdetts asked Reed and others to share the images of their daughter in order to save lives of other kids by spreading awareness on vaccination.
The meningitis B vaccine is recommended for babies aged two months, followed by a second dose at four months, and a booster at 12 months.
Faye was taken to A&E with a rash on her forehead, she was then transferred by south bank retrieval service to Evelina children’s hospital where her heart stopped in the ambulance, they revived her and spent hours working on stabilising her, we were given a 1% survival rate but she proved them wrong and carried on fighting, after a few days she seemed to have turned a corner but the the sepsis started to effect her more & the decision of limb removal was made, but the extent of removal was massive, full leg amputation and one arm and plastic surgery, but she was getting tired, her little body consumed by meningitis and sepsis (blood poisoning) we had to make the decision, a massive operation and she may die or we let her go peacefully on her own accord, we decided the latter & then watched our little girl slip away & at 9pm February 14th she finally fell asleep forever. All this in only 11days.
Play forever in peace Faye
Our prayers are with the Burdett family, we pray that other children may be spared from this raging disease through your own experiences. We pray that God brings the day in which no more tears will be shed, AMEN!
