Michael Simpson and his wife Carla Walker gave thanks to the hard work by NHS doctors and nurses at Nottingham City’s neonatal unit, little JJ has survived after being revived over and over again – often by staff working at the weekend.

The Simpsons ran across some hurtful comments made from the UK Health Secretary about the weekend hours of the hospital staff. That’s when Michael decided it was time to share the picture he’d been hiding from the world.

He said:

Where are you today Jeremy Hunt? Bet you’re not at work!
Well there are numerous amazing NHS staff, consultants, doctors and nurses amongst others that are looking after my son and millions of others at weekends and out of hours, get a grip and support them rather than moaning that they don’t work weekends.
Please please like and share this post if you support our amazing NHS staff.
