The Eagle’s Glenn Frey Has Passed Away
A founding member of the Eagles band, Glenn Frey, has died today in New York City at age 67.
He has had an ongoing battle with rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia, as it was mentioned on the Eagle’s website.
“The Frey family would like to thank everyone who joined Glenn to fight this fight and hoped and prayed for his recovery. Words can neither describe our sorrow nor our love and respect for all that he has given to us, his family, the music community and millions of fans worldwide.” – The Eagles

“I’m not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. We are all in a state of shock, disbelief and profound sorrow,” – Band Member Don Henley
Don Henley, Randy Meisner and Bernie Leadon were Frey’s trusted band members. Together, they forged a laid-back, country-tinged sound. It is that unique style of music that launched the Eagles to fame.
May you rest in peace Mr. Frey, and we hope that God’s purpose for you was fulfilled. AMEN!
