She’s In Love With Someone She Met On Facebook – She Never Expected Their Romance To End Like This …
Up until a few weeks ago, Evangelina Tsadiosou’s romance was all over the headlines. She was ready to give up all of her belongings in order to go marry the man she fell in love with through Facebook.
But this isn’t a love story ending in happiness, it’s a story that repeats itself everyday with almost everyone. For the gift of love is not that easy to find…
According to Metro, the media platform that covered all of Evangelina’s story from the very beginning, Evangelina met her fiancé through Facebook about nine months ago. The talented musician from the UK and 38-year-old Darryl Brown Fancey began messaging each other. It seemed as if every piece of the puzzle was falling into place. Or so she thought.
When December strolled along, Darryl proposed to Evangelina. And yes, it was an long distance relationship still. He sent her a picture of the engagement ring that he was planning to give her once they finally met face to face.
Their story was so magical, that it spread like make-belief wildfire.
“I know some people must think we are crazy, as I’ve never seen him on video chat or in person,” said Evangelina. “But I know in my heart he’s the man for me.”
As their romance gained internet fame, other women started sending Evangelina messages claiming that they were dating Darryl as well. At first Darryl denied any of that, and brushed off the rest of the women as jealous exes. But when the going got tough, Darryl went as far as to deny ever being in a relationship with Evangelina. When questioned about their status, he said he did not know Evangelina, wasn’t engaged to her, and never planned to get married. Instead, he suggested that she fabricated the story in an effort to gain media attention and further her career.
This, as you can imagine, devastated Evangelina. She had given up her home and sold most of her possessions in order to buy a plane ticket for Valentine’s Day.
“I can’t believe this has happened, I trusted Darryl completely, he told me he loved me every day now I feel utterly humiliated and heartbroken,” she told Caters News. “…[I]t was all just some twisted game to him.”
‘I keep replaying phone conversations in my head over and over and reading through my old emails, trying to figure out how I didn’t see through his lies sooner,’ says Evangelina.
‘I’m glad Darryl is finally out of my life, now I can finally move on with mine.’
Evangelina is finally moving on with her life.
