The FDA Clears New Device Able To Stop Hemorrhaging From Gun Shot Wounds For Up To 4 Hours!
A new invention called the XSTAT, has recently been cleared by the FDA for emergency medical situations in civilian use. The device, which was cleared last year for deployment in military situations, will now provide first responders on the street a new weapon in their arsenal. The XSTAT is a syringe filled with tiny compressed sponges, that can be inserted into a wound and seal it withing 15 seconds. This will enable medical service responders to keep victims from bleeding to death in life-threatening situations. The device, able to keep bleeding under control for up to 4 hours, will allow the victims the precious time they need to seek out proper medical attention.
