Every year, for a couple of weeks in February, something amazing happens in the valley of California. Dubbed the “Firefall”, a beautiful cascade of red can be seen at the Yosemite National Park, but only under superb conditions.

The beautiful phenomenon occurs when setting sun illuminates the Horsetail Fall waterfall, making it look like fire. The photograph was taken by Sangeeta Dey.

Firefall#HORSETAILFIREFALL: Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not head up to Yosemite National Park and catch a rare event that only happens once a year.
