Harriet Tubman, Along With Others, Is To Be The First Woman On Paper Currency In The United States
It has been confirmed that Harriet Tubman’s portrait will appear on the $20 bill. Not only that, but the montage of leaders from the women’s suffrage movement will be an addition to the back of the $10 bill.
The new $10 bill is said to enter circulation in the country by 2020, but it is unclear when the $20’s will come in.
The women pictured on the back of the $10 will are to be the first women in more than 100 years to appear on U.S paper currency.
