An effective way to remove hard water stains!

Okay, we have had glass shower doors in my parents’ home for as far back as I can remember. So, eventually, the doors would become so obscure, that you’d think that they were no longer made of glass, but painted an eggshell hue.

So, both my mother and I would do whatever we could, to remove the hard water stains . . . to no avail. Yes, they always looked better, but just not “brand new”. It would be disappointing since we would put a lot of sweat and tears into trying to remove the grime. We tried everything, and I DO mean everything . . . or so we thought.

One day I was extremely frustrated about the shower glass doors, because they have a huge shower made of slate tile, but you couldn’t even admire the beautiful stone; so I did some research . . . on YouTube of course, and that’s when I came across this video!

Bar Keepers Friend (yes, it’s not possessive) truly is a miracle in a bottle! You do not need to scrub hard at all, and the scum simply washes away. It is one of my favorite cleaners. You can use it on other household items, as well. The best thing about it, is that they sell it at most retailers and it is truly a bargain! I would gladly pay 5 times as much for that little bottle. Perhaps, I should keep that to myself. I wouldn’t want the corporate office to think that I’m suggesting a price increase!

I’ve gotten smart over the years. Now, after showering, I simply wipe the water stains on the glass doors with a piece of cloth, and I find that I don’t need to clean them as often!
