Anti-Gay Marriage Advertisements To Be Displayed On Billboards

Betty and Richard Odgaard, a married couple from Iowa, have planned a sequence of billboards—at least 1,000—that will represent the views and beliefs of those against same-sex marriage.

The Odgaard family had faced controversy back in 2013 when they refused to serve a gay couple’s wedding due to their religious views. Since then, they had been under fire and had no choice but to shut their business down after a lawsuit payment and a rapid decline in their business’ sales.

Now, they own a non-profit, non-tax-paying organization called God’s Original Design Ministry. This organization will be used to set up the billboards—one already existing in Durant, Oklahoma.

“This ministry also provides a platform for God fearing people to stand tall & proud in defense of God’s Original Design, and to give a voice to the “silent majority”,” it states on their website.
