“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:16)
In this short video, a Christian man talks about the true meaning of Baptism. It’s important to understand that baptism does not guarantee anyone a trip to heaven. Unless true conversion comes first, then baptism is just a meaningless ceremony. It is important to have a strong relationship with Christ.
Christ placed special emphasis on baptism, His closing words here on earth: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
