A video recently surfaced on the internet, that was shot in 2014, by a worker at a Kellogg’s factory worker showing something unbelievable. The disturbing video (which we will not show here) shows a factory worker, walking up to a cereal assembly line and urinating on the cereal product.
The shocking video was confirmed by Kellogg’s spokesperson Kris Charles, who said it happened at a facility in Memphis, Tennessee several years ago. Allegedly, the reason for the despicable act was over a labor dispute at the facility.
“In its statement, Kellogg said the products that could have potentially been affected were Rice Krispie Treats, Rice Krispie Treats cereal, and puffed rice cake products, all of which would now be past their respective expiration dates (meaning they’ve most likely long since been sold).” The entire publicly released statement reads:
Kellogg takes this situation very seriously and we were shocked and deeply disappointed by this video that we just learned of yesterday. We immediately alerted law enforcement authorities and regulators. A criminal investigation is underway as well as a thorough internal investigation.
Food quality is of the utmost importance to Kellogg Company. We are outraged by this completely unacceptable situation, and we will work closely with authorities to prosecute to the full extent of the law.
