Musician Puts Homeless People First, He Gets A Big Break In The End

Chris Leamy clearly remembers the day when he was walking out of the subway carrying his guitar when a homeless woman pointed to it saying “This would be easier if I had one of those.”

Something in Leamy clicked and since that moment he vowed to use his music to help the less fortunate.

If Leamy can help a homeless person make $20 in tips for one homeless person, that person gets to keep all of the money while Leamy matches it by paying $20 to the Bowery Mission Homeless Shelter. He also asks that his social media followers do the same.

He has raised more than $6,000 for New York City’s homeless since last year! They say that what goes around comes back around, and this charity that Leamy has set up has blessed him big time!

He has just recently signed a record deal with Sony, a true blessing from God!

“The goal of this has always been to humanize the homeless population. Never in a million years did I think it would lead to a deal.”
