“Doing God’s Work Of Stewardship And Nature”

In this stunning video, Hannes Brauneisen shares his experience working on a 3,900 acre ranch in Canada. He left Europe to learn English and have adventures; however, his experience working with nature brought him so much more than that. It brought him a real connection with the Earth and a deeper appreciation for the people in his life.

Hannes says the foundation of his work is to respect nature, so he does not use chemicals and everything is organic. In addition to doing God’s work of stewardship of nature, Hannes says the friends he made on the ranch will stay with him forever. He says, “When you are in the middle of nowhere, you discover the value of the people around you, and you stand by each other.” What a beautiful gift he has been given.

Hannes provides a great example of stewardship of nature, which is one way God intended man to work. In Genesis 1:26 we read about how God entrusted us with responsibility over nature. It says,

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish in the sea, and the fowl in the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and everything that creepeth upon the earth.”
