Grieving Mother Receives A “To-Go” Bag With Her Baby’s Remains From Hospital

British model and Big Brother contestant Sallie Axl, like thousands of women worldwide, suffered a miscarriage. If that wasn’t a denting and devastating blow to her life her, the treatment she received from Saint Mary’s Hospital in Manchester following the miscarriage was just as heartbreaking.

Sallie recalls waking up in a pool stains of blood, she had suffered a major haemorrhage and needed emergency surgery to save her life.

What she received in the same plastic bag with her medications was like salt on a fresh wound from the miscarriage.

When she was discharged from the hospital, her baby’s remains were in that bag. How can some people be so heartless? We pray that God will heal the wound left in her heart!

That hospital, which treated Sallie back in July, has now provided a statement about the case, apologising to Sallie.

A spokesperson told Heat,

“Although we are unable to comment on individual cases due to patient confidentiality, we are very proud of our services to support women who have undergone a miscarriage and are really very sorry if this has not been the case on this occasion.”

“Unfortunately the family have not contacted us directly, and we would encourage them to make contact with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service so we can address any concerns on 0161 276 8686.”

Sallie says in a twitter post that she has tried calling the helpline that they provided three times, but wasn’t able to get through.

On Instagram, Sallie said that they will be putting their baby girl to rest this week.

Many on twitter have reached out to Sallie on Twitter and have her in their prayers!
