Tanya Tyler and her infant child might not be alive today if it had not been for an instinctive voice in Tanya’s head that urged her to RUN. It was her mother’s intuition that got them both to safety before a tree crashed through their roof. The tree came out of nowhere crashing down where they had been standing just a few moments before.

Tanya was getting ready to get started folding the laundry when she got a sudden feeling that her and her baby were unsafe. Although there was no way to have known what was going to happen next, Tanya didn’t question her instincts. Without giving it a second thought, she fled the front room of their house.

“As I was setting the laundry down, I actually heard in my mind, like instinctively, maybe, ‘RUN,’” Tanya told KREM. “And I didn’t hear any trees at the time falling, but I turned quickly and grabbed the car carrier with one hand in front of the swing. And as we took one step, you could hear the tree inside the living room.

Just seconds after she ran out of the front room, a tree fell through their home, doing an immense amount of damage to the property.
