Officer Nick Ague responded to a car crash back in 2013. After assuring that the family was safe, the officer learned that their German Shephard, Mya, was missing. The dog had run off after being startled by the car crash and was nowhere to be found. Officer Ague, owner of a German Shepherd, knew how much pain he would feel if he could never see his own dog again. He was determined to find the German Shepard and that’s exactly what he did.

Mya, the German Shepard, traveled far into the county border. As the officer called for her to come, he noticed something heartbreaking. Mya’s paws were covered in blood and she was unable to walk. Without hesitation, Officer Ague gathered all his strength and carried the 75-pound dog to the owner.
