Kind Policeman Helps Bloodied Marathon Runner Cross Finish Line

Marathon runner Robert McCoy was nearing the end of the finish line of the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon in Savannah, Georgia, when he suddenly toppled over from exhaustion. He had pushed his body to its limits and was now in a deep struggle to finish the 26.2 mile race.

That’s when Sergeant John Cain, from the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department, stepped into the race to help the McCoy to the finish line. McCoy suffered some cuts on his face and his legs from the fall, but as the video shows nothing could have gone more perfect!
