Please Pray For Our Brothers and Sisters

Vision Beyond Borders serves over 20 countries throughout the world. When receiving requests from those persecuted, prayer is the most needed. They met with a pastor in China that had been imprisoned for over 20 years for his convictions, and when asked how he could be helped, he responded with, “First, please pray for us. There is much persecution here and many of our leaders are in prison. And please bring Bibles; we need God’s Word!”

Truly, we here, in America, take God’s Word for granted. How many Bibles do we have at home? I have at least 3. Do we even read them as we should? Yet, there are people that are wrongfully persecuted and imprisoned for their faith. Some are even killed! Let’s not take our blessings for granted.

We need to come to our knees and pray for our brothers in Christ—for all, that are following God’s plan and are in need. God DOES listen to our prayer, on their behalf. If we all join together, as often as we can, we will assist in helping the world to know the Creator of the Universe!

Vision Beyond Borders shared that, “We believe God has used and continues to use this ministry through the prayers of His people. We eagerly seek people who are willing to pray on behalf of the ministry and have heard from people all over the world who are praying for us. What an encouragement that is! Our teams consistently report they can literally feel the prayer coverage as they cross the closed borders with the Word of God. It is incredible to hear how God miraculously conceals this precious cargo in response to those who faithfully pray.”

Glory be to God! They CAN feel our prayers reaching their mission! God is willing and able to provide for the needs of the called and protect them from harm. Let’s never lose focus on those that are sharing the Gospel abroad and get too comfortable here, at home.
