1. Get Yourself In The Habit To Read Regularly

Each Christian must get into the habit of reading the Bible on a regular basis. You will find it extremely helpful to have a personal schedule in which you set time aside to keep up with your daily Bible reading. You can get crafty with your Bible study! Try memorizing a verse that you feel really fond to. This will prove to be extremely helpful when you find yourself in situations where you need God’s advice.

2. Keep Your Bible With You

God’s word is more than just a book. It is your spiritual food and it is your weapon. Keep your instrument somewhere you can access it throughout the day. Your car, purse,  locker, desk are just some fine examples of where you can keep the Bible. Having easy access will allow you to draw closer more to God. Bibles come in all shapes and sizes, the point is to have it with you wherever you go.

3. Ask God To Help You In Your Bible Study

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5

We can’t do it by ourselves. Remember that God wants us to draw closer to him, and he does not mind if sometimes we ask for his immense knowledge to help us learn more about him and his purpose for this world.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him. I John 2:27
