The students of this teacher mean so much to her, that she invited them to be part of her wedding!
A teacher at Christian Academy’s Providence School, in Louisville, Kentucky, got engaged at her school, so she knew that she wanted some of her students to be part of her wedding.
Kinsey French shared her very special day, with 6 of her students, that have Down syndrome. They are in a regular classroom for the majority of their day, but receive speech and occupational therapy, as well.
She stated, “They were like family to me. They were my first class and they’ve been my only class and so I knew I couldn’t have a special day without them.”
The kids shared their favorite moments with WLKY, and they are simply adorable and joyful kids.
“It was so exciting. It was really special for Josh and myself just to have them a part of the day, and have them come with us and celebrate with us,” she continued.
A VERSE TO REFLECT ON:
Matthew 18:2-6 (KJV)
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
