Millions Of Cherry Blossoms Are Blooming, Millions Of Tourists Are Trying To See The Beauty!

As the feeling of Spring overcomes Washington, D.C, hundreds of tourists are heading to it’s downtown to catch a glimpse of the famed city’s cherry blossoms.

The National Park Service said the peak bloom hits on March 23 and 24. Millions of people are expected to visit the Tidal Basin to see the amazing beauty of the pink and white blossoms. They are a marvelous sight indeed!

In 1912, Japan gifted the city of Washington 3,000 cherry trees. It was to be a symbol of friendship between Japan and the United States. Since then the cherrie blossoms have expanded and what we have today is just plain beauty!
