His Son Went Far And Beyond To Make His Elderly Father Happy

Peter Shaw remodeled his 96-year-old father’s wheelchair to resemble an armored tank. With some help from locals who donated some metal materials, and a local welder,

With the help of locals who donated the materials and a local welder, Peter attached a motorized wheelbarrow and a van seat to the wheelchair.

Eddie Shaw, who was a WWII veteran and served as Sergeant says:

“It brings backs memories of the war. I came under fire from tanks but never got to drive one – now I finally can.”

The wheelchair took about 30 hours to build, and can reach speeds of up to 8 miles per hour.
